Workshop on basic research with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
30th June and 1st July 2011, Macquarie University
Overview
The workshop, to be held at Macquarie University, will be a forum to learn about and discuss research applications of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), including applications in cognitive psychology and motor control. The focus of the workshop is not only on presenting completed research projects, but is also a forum to discuss the types of problems that TMS can solve and to discuss research plans. The workshop will be an intimate event, with several lectures in the morning, together with ample time set aside for discussions among the participants. The afternoon sessions on both days will feature hands-on TMS tutorials. No prior knowledge of TMS is assumed, and students are particularly encouraged to attend.
