Profile

I am interested in computational modelling in cognitive science at the functional level. I'm currently working on developing two models: a dynamic computational model and theory of reading skill acquisition, called the "dual-route cascaded model of reading acquisition and reading aloud", or "learning-DRC", or just "L-DRC", and a new model of reading aloud and lexical decision that represents sublexical information at a variety of levels, including letter level, grapheme level, body level and word-form level.

Although I currently specialise in reading, I am more generally interested in computational modelling in other areas of cognitive science, and in furthering the use of computational modelling across the field.
