Profile

I am a post doc at the ARC centre of excellence in cognition and its disorders at Macquarie University where I will be working (with Max Coltheart) in developing an explanation of somatoparaphrenia. My current research is focused on self consciousness, including the nature of pre-reflective self consciousness and Ipseity (with Kristina Musholt) and the Rubber Hand Illusion (with Regine Zopf). In addition I have projects underway investigating agency in the crime of filicide, emergent social cognitive systems (with Anna Kuhlen), perspective taking and theory of mind (with Henrike Moll and Michael Pauen) and theories of consciousness (with Elizabeth Schier).

I am supervising one graduate student Stef Savanah who is also working on self-consciousness.
