Profile

I completed my PhD with Professor John Hodges and Dr Olivier Piguet at the Frontier Frontotemporal Dementia Research Group in 2012. My research focused on the recognition of famous tunes and emotions in music in patients with frontotemporal dementia. I used experimental tasks, in conjunction with structural neuroimaging analyses, in patients to determine key brain areas which are critical to these areas of music cognition. I am currently in a postdoctoral position with Frontier and developing new projects in collaboration with CCD members. I am interested in revising cognitive tools used in the assessment of dementias as well as aspects of decision making, future thinking and emotion processing.
