Profile

Dr Kumfor completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons. Class 1) at the University of New South in 2007 and a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University in 2011, receiving the Vice Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence. In 2012, she was named on the Faculty of Medicine’s Dean’s List for outstanding research. In July 2013, her PhD thesis was passed without emendations and was awarded the APS Excellent Thesis in Psychology Award. Since completing her PhD, Dr Kumfor has established herself as an early career researcher, with a focus on social cognition and dementia.
